Crowns & Bridges

Crowns & BridgesCrowns and Onlays

At times, it is necessary to utilize crowns and onlays when a filling becomes too large and the tooth is at risk of breaking, a natural tooth becomes broken or fractured, or a tooth needs to be restored to its original shape and function.  They may cover only a portion or the entire tooth.  Once cemented permanently in place, they are used and cleaned the same as a natural tooth.  Our office uses the most current, metal free all-ceramic materials, providing a durable, safe and aesthetic outcome.

Fixed Bridges

Crowns & BridgesA fixed bridge may be used to replace one or more missing teeth. These have a crown on each side of the space with replacement teeth attached in-between to connect them.
They are colored and shaped like the surrounding teeth, permanently cemented into place, and are cleaned and maintained much like your original teeth. Bridges may be utilized in replacement of both front and back teeth. When properly done and maintained, fixed bridges are very durable and make long lasting restorations.  As with crowns and onlays, our office utilizes safe and durable materials for an esthetic outcome.
